How to make paneer from home- paneer from milk

Everytime when you need paneer you don’t need to get it from shop you can make paneer at home it is very easy to do so. Paneer is very rich in protein. Homemade paneer is very soft and super tasty. Paneer is main ingredients in many north Indian recipe. This homemade paneer can be used for many gravy recipes. When we want to make sweet recipe from panner then we should make even softer paneer out of milk. I have given you step by step pictorial recipe.Now lets look how to make paneer from milk

Ingredients:

  • Milk
  • Vinegar(you can also use lemon)

10 min 2 hrs

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk till it boils
  2. Add 1 spoon of vinegar(else add 1/2 lemon extract) and stir
  3. Stir continuously in low flame until milk curdles
  4. If want you can add extra vinegar and wait till the milk curdles and water separate completely
  5. Once it separates drain the water completely and collect the milk curdles in a white cloth
  6. Squeeze the white cloth which has milk curdles and remove the extra water
  7. Rinse the milk curdles with fresh water so that the smell of vinegar or lemon goes off
  8. Now fold the cloth to the shape you want to have and place a heavy weight object on top of the cloth with milk curdle
  9. Rest for 2-3 hrs and then when you open your homemade paneer will be ready .You can make them into pieces

Heat the milk(3/4 litre) and let it boil

Add 1 spoon vinegar and stir until milk curdles separate from water

Drain the water and milk curdle separately and wash the milk curdle in fresh water

Now fold the cloth to the shape you want to have and place a heavy weight object on top of the cloth with milk curdle

Rest for 2-3 hrs and then when you open your homemade paneer will be ready .You can make them into pieces
