Green moong dal curry is healthy and easy recipe.It tastes super good and goes well with rice varieties.You can also make dosa or just cook green gram with some seasoning and have as a healthy snacks.But this gravy recipe is best of all.
Green gram takes time to cook so you can soak for 1 hour in water and then cook or while cooking in pan leave some 30 min to cook well in case of pressure cooker leave it for 7-8 whistle.

- Green gram
- Cumin seeds,mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Castor oil
- Red chilli

- Take 1 cup of green gram in pan and roast for 5 min
- Then add a pinch of turmeric,salt,asafoetida,garlic,onion,red chilli,1/2 tsp of castor oil,cumin seeds and cook for 7 whistle
- Once cooked mash well
- Then for seasoning add mustard seeds,onion,red chilli,curry leaves and cook well and add the cooked green gram
- Your green gram curry is ready serve it with rice
Dry roast one cup of green gram in a pan for 5 min
Add a pinch of turmeric,salt,asafoetida,garlic,onion,red chilli,1/2 tsp of castor oil,cumin seeds
Cook for 7-8 whistles
Mash it well
For seasoning add mustard seeds,onion,red chilli,curry leaves and cook well
Add the mashed green gram
Green gram curry is ready serve with rice
