Paneer Butter Masala /How to make restaurant style paneer Butter Masala

Paneer butter masala is famous dish in north Indian cuisine.It is rich dish with butter and creamy texture. It goes well with chapathi and roti. In this recipe we will see how Indian restaurant cooks paneer butter masala.It is easy to cook and can be done within 30 min.We can have homemade paneer to make this recipe which will taste more delicious.I have also shown you step by step picture of the recipe. So now lets look into the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Paneer
  • Butter
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Cashew nut (to get creamy texture)
  • Tomatoes
  • Chilli Powder
  • Garam masala
  • Salt
  • Fresh cream
  • Kasuri methi

Instructions:

  1. Heat the pan with some butter
  2. Add 1 large chopped onion, 2 large tomatoes
  3. Add 5-6 cashew nut and piece of ginger and 3 cloves of garlic
  4. Let it cook for 5 min and let it cool completely and grind it in to a smooth paste
  5. Heat the pan with butter and add in the paste
  6. Add water as required for your consistency
  7. Add 1 tsp of chilli powder, for color add 1 tsp of kashmiri chilli powder and 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  8. Add salt as required
  9. Add 200g of paneer cubes and let it cook for 2 min
  10. Add 1 spoon of fresh cream
  11. Once it is cooked well garnish with come kasuri methi leaves (dont skip this step it gives the real taste)
  12. Your restaurant style paneer butter masala is ready!
